Adobe Brings CX Enterprise Coworker into Third-Party AI Platforms

Enterprise Coworker

Adobe has integrated CX Enterprise Coworker into AI platforms from Anthropic, Databricks, Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft, with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake to follow. The move puts Adobe’s agentic customer experience orchestration inside the assistants marketers already use. Futurum survey data suggests the harder tests are where buyers deploy agents first and how they want to pay for them.

What is Covered in this Article

  • Adobe integrated CX Enterprise Coworker into ChatGPT (as a plugin), Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for business, and Microsoft Copilot, with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake integrations to follow.
  • New Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors let marketers link partner systems without custom integration work and act across several systems with a single request.
  • Nine global systems integrators and six agency holding companies are building custom agentic solutions on CX Enterprise Coworker.
  • Futurum survey data shows buyers now prefer autonomous agents to copilots but are deploying them first in IT operations and cybersecurity, not customer-facing work.
  • Pricing and governance for agent work that starts outside Adobe’s own applications remain open questions.

The News: On November 4, 2026, Adobe announced that CX Enterprise Coworker is integrated into AI platforms from Anthropic, Databricks, Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft. The agent is available in ChatGPT as a plugin, Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for Business, and Microsoft Copilot. Adobe said integrations with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake will follow, without giving a timeline.

Adobe describes CX Enterprise Coworker as an agentic teammate for customer experience orchestration. Marketers can connect the partner systems they already use without custom integration work, then use a single request to pull data and take actions across several systems. New CX Enterprise Coworker connectors provide ready-made MCP integrations with existing partner tools.

CX Enterprise Coworker reached general availability in June 2026. It is built on MCP and Agent2Agent (A2A), runs Customer Experience Orchestration workflows on Adobe CX Enterprise with human oversight, and covers campaign performance analysis, audience forecasting, journey optimization, conflict resolution, and planning and work management.

Adobe named nine global systems integrators building on the agent (Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte Digital, EY, IBM, Infosys, PwC, and TCS) and six agencies (Dentsu, Havas, Omnicom, Publicis, Stagwell, and WPP).

Adobe Brings CX Enterprise Coworker into Third-Party AI Platforms

Analyst Take: Adobe’s decision to put Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Databricks Genie is the right distribution move, but it hands the front end of the customer experience workflow to the companies that build those assistants. Adobe is betting that its data, journey logic, and governance will keep it essential even when marketers never open an Adobe application. That bet pays off only if Adobe proves results in customer-facing agent work, a category where buyers are moving more slowly than vendor marketing suggests.

The launch partners are Anthropic, Databricks, Google, OpenAI, and Microsoft, with AWS, IBM, and Snowflake to follow. Together they cover the assistants most enterprises have already licensed.

Adobe Puts Its Agent Where Marketers Already Work

Many enterprises have standardized on one or two AI assistants, usually chosen by IT rather than marketing. An agent that works only inside its vendor’s interface gets used only when someone opens that interface. Running in five assistants gives Adobe CX Enterprise Coworker more chances to be used each day.

Futurum’s 2H 2026 Enterprise Applications Decision Maker Survey (N=833, published August 2026) supports the agentic direction: 42.7% of IT decision-makers now prefer generative AI delivered mainly through autonomous agents, versus 31.2% who prefer copilots. Adobe built Coworker to execute workflows across systems, which matches that preference.

The Interface Is No Longer Adobe’s to Own

MCP and A2A make it easy for Adobe to plug into nearly any assistant. They make it just as easy for Adobe’s competitors. When a request starts in ChatGPT or Copilot, the assistant vendor owns the user’s attention, the conversation history, and the choice of which connector to call. Microsoft also sells its own Dynamics 365 marketing and customer insights applications, so inside Copilot, Adobe competes with its host’s products.

Adobe’s defense has to come from what sits behind the request: customer profiles, journey logic, content, and governance in Adobe CX Enterprise. If that layer is clearly better, the entry point matters less. If it is merely comparable, the assistant vendors gain the leverage to steer users toward whichever tools they prefer.

Buyers Are Not Starting with Customer-Facing Agents

Customer experience orchestration is the opposite case. An agent that changes a live journey or audience can send the wrong offer to millions of customers. Adobe needs to show that human approval, audit trails, and rollback work as well from Claude. The same Futurum survey shows enterprises deploying agents first in internal, measurable domains. IT operations and observability (21.6%) and cybersecurity (16.4%) lead first-rank deployment intent, while sales, marketing, and service (12.8%) and customer engagement (10.4%) trail. Buyers want to prove agents where mistakes are contained, and ROI is easy to measure.

Systems Integrators and Agencies Will Drive Adoption

The partner list includes the largest global systems integrators and agency holding companies. These firms will build Coworker into industry- and client-specific agents, which is how most enterprises will move from pilots to production. Agencies also get a way to show clients AI productivity gains while clients push back on fees.

Questions Buyers Should Ask

Adobe did not disclose pricing, how it governs and audits actions taken from third-party assistants, or whether features are the same across all five platforms. Buyers should ask how human approval works when an agent changes a journey from ChatGPT or Copilot, and how Adobe bills for usage that starts outside its products.

See the complete press release at the company’s website.

What to Watch

  • Feature parity: whether Coworker offers the same actions and controls in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Genie.
  • Pricing: how Adobe charges for agent work that starts in a third-party assistant, and whether pricing is tied to Adobe CX Enterprise usage or to results.
  • AWS, IBM, and Snowflake dates: Adobe gave no timeline; delivery dates will show whether Adobe can add platforms quickly.
  • Governance: how approvals and audit trails work when an agent changes a live journey from outside Adobe’s console.
  • Customer deployments: named enterprise customers from the systems integrator and agency partners will show whether Coworker reaches production in 2027.
  • Competitor moves: whether Salesforce, Oracle, and SAP make their CX agents available in the same assistants.
