Planisware’s Q3 FY 2026 shows recurring revenue gaining speed as support teams return from a heavy first-half implementation load and recently signed customers ramp up. The Prisma AI agent beta and a formal partner program frame the company’s next phase, with delivery capacity and AI monetization as the variables to watch.

The News: Planisware (Euronext Paris: PLNW) reported revenue for the third quarter of FY 2026 (Q3 FY 2026) on October 23, 2026. Revenue was €57.4 million, up 15.6% year on year (YoY) as reported and 14.9% in constant currency (cc), exceeding the 12.6% constant-currency growth expected in the company-compiled consensus from October 22, 2026. Recurring revenue was €51.7 million, up 17.2% YoY as reported and 16.6% in cc, and represented 90% of total revenue. Within recurring revenue, SaaS & Hosting revenue was €28.2 million (up 19.1% in cc) and Evolutive support revenue was €15.6 million (up 19.6% in cc), while non-recurring revenue was €5.7 million (up 1.7% in cc), as Implementation & others non-recurring revenue rose 45.1% in cc and Perpetual licenses revenue fell 50.3% in cc. For the first nine months of FY 2026, revenue was €163.5 million, up 12.4% YoY as reported and 14.9% in cc. The Q3 FY 2026 update covered revenue only; Planisware did not disclose operating profit, net income, or earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter.

“Our third-quarter performance confirms the strength of Planisware’s growth trajectory,” said Loïc Sautour, CEO of Planisware. “The continued success of our SaaS platform, the acceleration of support activities, and the successful implementation of the many customers signed over recent quarters once again translated into sustained growth and further demonstrate the scalability of our model.”

Planisware Q3 FY 2026 Recurring Revenue Speeds Up as Prisma AI Enters Beta

Analyst Take: Planisware’s third quarter reads as a company that signed more customers than its delivery teams were sized to handle and is now catching up. Recurring revenue growth accelerated to 16.6% in cc from 12.6% in the first half as support revenue reaccelerated, which management attributed to customers implemented earlier in the year and to Evolutive support teams returning from a heavy first-half load of new-customer implementations. That pattern points to a capacity issue rather than a demand issue. New customers drove about 70% of recurring revenue growth, so installed-base expansion is running below its potential while the onboarding queue clears.

The AI story also reached real users, as the Prisma agent entered beta at the end of the quarter. I believe Planisware enters 2027 in a strong position in project portfolio management (PPM), but delivery capacity and Prisma monetization, alongside the macro conditions management flagged, now matter more to its pace than the pipeline does.

New Customers Fill the Implementation Pipeline Ahead of Recurring Revenue

Implementation & other non-recurring revenue rose 45.1% in cc in the quarter and 60.3% over the first nine months, reflecting the new customers signed since the end of FY 2025. Management said most of this implementation work started in the first half of FY 2026 and should convert to software-as-a-service (SaaS) and Evolutive support revenue as deployments go live. Management expects implementation activity to slow in Q4, moving the slowdown it had previously anticipated for Q3 into the final quarter, while completed implementations continue to feed recurring revenue.

Evolutive support grew 19.6% and Subscription support 10.3% in cc, against 7.2% and 2.2% in the first half, as customers implemented earlier in the year ramped up and support teams returned from first-half implementation work. SaaS & Hosting growth of 19.1% in cc was slightly below its first-half pace of roughly 21%, so the acceleration came from support rather than subscriptions.

Recurring revenue reached 90% of total revenue, up about 130 basis points YoY, while Perpetual licenses revenue fell 50.3% in cc as the shift to SaaS continued and against a high Q3 FY 2025 comparison base. CEO Loïc Sautour said prioritizing new logo implementations slightly weighs on the net retention rate (NRR) for now, and that he expects expansion and NRR to rise afterward. Planisware does not disclose NRR quarterly; it reported FY 2025 NRR of 110%, under its own definition that excludes customers in their first 12 months of recurring revenue.

Separately, investor relations said the return of Evolutive support activity should drive upsell of SaaS & Hosting subscriptions. If that conversion holds to the timeline management described, the current split, in which new customers (those contributing revenue for less than 12 months) supplied about 70% of recurring revenue growth and installed-base expansion about 30%, should tilt back toward expansion, making 2027 growth less dependent on fresh signings.

Prisma Beta Puts Planisware’s AI Monetization to the Test

Prisma, Planisware’s hybrid-reasoning AI agent, entered beta at the end of the quarter with Prisma and Prisma Pro, while Prisma Expert, aimed at configuration and customization, is expected to follow at a later stage. The company confirmed an official commercial release by the end of Q1 FY 2027, with Prisma sold by subscription as part of its SaaS offering and direct revenue contribution starting progressively from that point. The company said the launch is already improving its competitive win rate. Separately, it said several Q3 contracts were won against Microsoft-based solutions and established PPM competitors, though Prisma’s beta launched only at the end of the quarter.

The 26Q4 platform release added natural-language formula generation to Oscar, the company’s AI assistant, plus new Agile-at-Scale functionality. CEO Loïc Sautour argued that AI is almost forcing some legacy tools that lack it into earlier retirement and positioned Prisma’s control over model use as a way to limit customer token consumption.

Rising competitive win rates are an early sign that AI is helping sell the broader platform, not yet evidence of direct Prisma revenue. The Q1 FY 2027 commercial release, its pricing, and subsequent paid adoption are the real test of monetization.

Formal Partner Program Targets a Delivery Capacity Constraint

After the quarter closed, on October 19, 2026, Planisware announced an expanded global partner strategy with a dedicated global partner organization, new partner programs with enhanced training, accreditation, and certification, and more than 25 implementation partners already onboarded. Partners work in hybrid teams alongside Planisware consultants, and commercial partners open markets without a direct sales presence, as in Australia, where Planisware opened its own commercial office almost a year ago.

Management was candid that the company had faced a constraint, saying its hiring last year followed the revenue cycle and that it wished it had hired more ahead of the current wave of new customers. Investor relations framed the program as the formalization of long-standing practices rather than a breakthrough.

Q3 wins add to that load, including the French public health insurance fund, a leading German mutual insurer, and what the company called a significant expansion with an existing US automotive customer, with potential deployment to approximately 3,500 users.

Implementation work started in September on some of these wins, on top of projects that began in the first half. Routing more implementation through partners is the right call for absorbing peaks, but Planisware’s edge has been close customer relationships and domain expertise, so partner delivery quality deserves close tracking.

Guidance and Final Thoughts

Planisware confirmed all FY 2026 objectives raised on July 30, 2026: revenue growth of at least 13% in cc, an adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margin of at least the FY 2025 level of 37.4%, and a cash conversion rate of about 80%. With nine-month revenue up 14.9% in cc, the revenue target looks conservative: the floor implies Q4 growth of only about 8% in cc, and the CFO noted that applying Q3 actuals to the company-compiled consensus lifts FY 2026 consensus to 14.3% in cc.

Investor relations said recurring revenue already booked supports the at-least-13% floor, which it described as fully de-risked, with Q4 non-recurring transactions offering potential upside. The caution reflects a volatile macroeconomic and geopolitical environment that management said hit fourth-quarter non-recurring sales in each of the last two years. Planisware is not providing FY 2027 guidance while budgeting continues, and acknowledged a more demanding comparison basis next year.

Capital allocation is unchanged, with a 50% dividend payout, no buyback at the current valuation, and any special dividend awaiting greater visibility on French taxation. I expect Planisware to clear its FY 2026 floor comfortably; the bigger question for 2027 is how fast the implementation backlog and Prisma turn into recurring SaaS revenue.
