For the first time ever, Lenovo has brought its flagship TechWorld conference to the global stage of CES, signaling both its ambition and confidence in shaping the future of technology. The move marks a strategic integration of Lenovo’s annual innovation showcase into the world’s largest consumer electronics gathering, where the company unveiled a sweeping set of announcements spanning its devices and fast-growing infrastructure businesses.

A New Era: TechWorld Meets CES

Traditionally a standalone event, Tech World’s migration to CES 2026 is more than a change of venue; it’s Lenovo’s declaration of intent to lead the next wave of AI-driven transformation for enterprises and consumers alike. Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang opened with a keynote focused on hybrid intelligence, where personal and enterprise AI intersect, showcasing innovations that bridge everyday user experiences and the massive AI infrastructure powering them behind the scenes. From next-generation ThinkPad and Yoga laptops to infrastructure platforms for hyperscale AI, Lenovo’s announcements reflected the company’s “AI for All” vision, making artificial intelligence accessible, proactive, and personal, while supporting the enterprise-scale demands of the AI economy. This dual focus is timely; according to Futurum Research, the global AI platforms market is set to surpass $180 billion by 2030, driven by enterprise adoption across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services.

QIRA: Lenovo’s Answer to the Age of Ambient AI

At the heart of Lenovo’s device innovation is QIRA, a next-generation, cross-device AI agent designed to elevate the experience of using Lenovo and Motorola products. Billed as a “personal, ambient AI,” QIRA moves far beyond the traditional voice assistant. Living natively across PCs, phones, tablets, and wearables, QIRA is context-aware, proactive, and capable of anticipating user needs, acting not just on user requests, but making intelligent suggestions and taking action for the user before they ask. This aligns with a larger shift in the device market. Recent Futurum research found that over 70% of enterprises are prioritizing integration of AI-powered experiences into endpoint devices, citing productivity, security, and user engagement as key drivers. Lenovo’s QIRA is positioned to ride this wave, leveraging both local AI compute and hybrid cloud intelligence for privacy, responsiveness, and seamless cross-device experiences.

Alongside QIRA, Lenovo unveiled an expanded AI PC portfolio powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, designed specifically to accelerate on-device generative AI workloads. On the mobile front, Motorola introduced a new Razr foldable, blending iconic design with deeper AI integration for real-time voice-to-text, intelligent photography, and context-driven assistance, demonstrating Lenovo’s commitment to innovation across the device spectrum.

Lenovo-NVIDIA Gigafactory: Scaling AI for the Enterprise Era

In the infrastructure domain, Lenovo revealed an expanded partnership with NVIDIA to build the world’s first AI Cloud Gigafactory, an ambitious project designed to help hyperscalers and enterprises deploy powerful AI at scale, faster and more efficiently than ever before. The Gigafactory leverages Lenovo’s leadership in data center solutions (where it already commands a top-three position in several major hyperscale cloud providers) with NVIDIA’s full-stack accelerated computing platform. This end-to-end “AI factory” solution will deliver turnkey infrastructure that enables customers to train, deploy, and scale generative AI models and solutions tailored for enterprise environments. According to Futurum Research, enterprise demand for AI infrastructure is growing at 25% CAGR, with hyperscalers and large enterprises racing to provision the compute needed for advancements in generative AI and foundation models. The Gigafactory model addresses these needs by reducing deployment times, maximizing energy efficiency, and enabling customers to support massive AI workloads with sustainability in mind.
