Empowering Developers with Next-Generation Observability Solutions

Analyst Take: The observability market is expanding at an unprecedented rate due to cloud-native architectures becoming more and more popular. As cloud environments get more complex, developers are under growing pressure to guarantee the performance, scalability, and reliability of their applications. As evidenced by its impressive triple-digit annual sales growth and integration with Google Cloud’s Personalized Service Health (PSH), Chronosphere’s ongoing commitment to innovation signals to developers an expanding opportunity to realize full observability for their applications.

Now, developers have access to a comprehensive observability platform that not only tracks the health of their applications but also offers valuable data on the infrastructure below. Because of Chronosphere and Google Cloud’s collaboration, the monitoring process is streamlined, and developers are able to proactively identify and address problems before they adversely impact the user experience. In fact, according to our latest observability research study, 55% of respondents believe increasing IT automation or AIOps adoption is crucial for organizations to meet their operational requirements. Developers may reduce operational costs and enable quicker incident response by utilizing the PSH connection, which gives them greater insight into the health of their Google Cloud services.

Furthermore, developers who are looking for flexibility and interoperability in their toolchains may find significant value in Chronosphere’s emphasis on open-source compatibility and doing away with vendor lock-in. Complicity is also a challenge here. We see that 52% of the respondents in our Futurum Research observability study said that, on average, they use 6-10 observability tools to collect data from their application environment. With this partnership, teams will be able to easily include best-in-class technologies into their cloud-native workflows, highlighting the growing significance of ecosystem integration in the developer experience and reducing complexity in the toolsets. We see that 40% of the respondents to our latest observability study said that 26% to 50% of the organization’s revenue is directly tied to internally developed or custom applications. With developers driving innovation in cloud-native development, Chronosphere’s growth and partnership with Google Cloud demonstrate a mutually beneficial partnership that enables developers to confidently build and expand mission-critical applications and address this application growth and advancement.

Looking Ahead

We see in our Futurum Research observability study that developers navigating the complexity of modern cloud environments can leverage solutions like Chronosphere’s rapid growth and strategic alignment with Google Cloud to provide a major benefit in this application growth. Chronosphere’s integration with Google Cloud’s PSH improves observability and accelerates incident response, freeing up developers to concentrate on innovation rather than maintenance.

With tools specifically designed for cloud-native workflows, developers are becoming increasingly empowered, as this partnership highlights. With its open-source compatibility and seamless interface with top cloud platforms, Chronosphere frees developers from vendor lock-in to create scalable and dependable applications.

Looking ahead, we see observability solutions continuing to innovate due to developers’ unwavering focus on performance, reliability, and agility. The fact that Chronosphere is growing and working with Google Cloud is evidence of how important observability is in helping developers realize the full potential of cloud-native development and create amazing user experiences.
