SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Copper, the Google-recommended CRM platform for relationship-based business growth, today announced the appointment of Sam Moorhead as VP of Sales. Moorhead joins Copper after spending over a decade at HubSpot, most recently serving as the company’s Mid-Market Sales Leader in the UK and Ireland.

“We’re excited to welcome Sam to Copper as our new Vice President of Sales. He brings a tremendous track record of sales success and revenue growth to our team,” said Dennis Fois, CEO of Copper. “Sam has a wealth of experience and, most critically, shares our vision that a CRM should fuel relationship growth; not just check the boxes of a sales funnel. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Moorhead has spent the last 10 years growing HubSpot’s business, serving in various sales and marketing roles at the company. Moorhead spent the majority of his earlier career in North America, helping develop HubSpot’s small business sales engine, and spent the last two years in Dublin scaling out the company’s mid-market segment in the UK and Ireland.

At Copper, Sam will be charged with leading the company’s overall sales strategy with a focus on collaboration and customer experience. He brings a strength and passion for growing sales professionals into leaders within the organization, along with an innate understanding of how best to support prospects and customers through their journeys.

“Not only has Copper developed its CRM platform to help clients build meaningful relationships and manage the sales funnel, but the company’s care and level of support for the end-user is the best I’ve seen in the industry,” said Moorhead. “I’m excited to join a team that does an excellent job of serving its customers and truly cares about each client, and I look forward to continuing our mission of fostering these meaningful connections with our buyers and prospects.”

Prior to HubSpot, Moorhead started his career at Sonian, a public cloud information archiving company. He is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
