Calix Marketing Cloud and HubSpot Integration Make World Class Omnichannel Marketing Simple for Even the Smallest Broadband Service Provider

The new integration of Marketing Cloud with leading CRM platform HubSpot enables marketers to seamlessly deliver targeted omnichannel campaigns to increase engagement and maximize ROI

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Calix, Inc. (NYSE: CALX) today launched the integration of HubSpot, a leading CRM and omnichannel marketing platform for growing companies, with Calix Marketing Cloud (Marketing Cloud). The latest of several integrations with leading marketing platforms used by broadband service providers (BSPs), the combination of HubSpot and Marketing Cloud makes it easier than ever for BSP marketers to plan, create, and execute high-impact omnichannel marketing campaigns. With Marketing Cloud and HubSpot, any BSP can leverage advanced, real-time behavioral insights and automated marketing processes to seamlessly deliver the right message to the right subscribers at the right time. The integration enables BSPs to market smarter, stretch their marketing investments farther, grow their business, and measure ROI.

This enhancement to the Revenue EDGE platform builds upon the robust capabilities of Marketing Cloud, which already features integrations with Mailchimp and Facebook. With the powerful combination of Marketing Cloud and HubSpot, BSP marketers will be able to more easily:

  • Segment and target subscribers. Marketing Cloud allows BSPs to segment their subscriber base to create targeted messaging and communications that resonate better and drive higher engagement. Marketers can leverage an ever-growing list of out-of-the-box “recommended segments” to easily identify subscribers that are targets for upsell, cross-sell, or retention. Using machine learning, Marketing Cloud continually refines segments and can build new audiences as new trends emerge. These rich capabilities will make it easier for BSPs using HubSpot to proactively test messages among different audiences to create the highest-performing campaigns possible.
  • Build and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns. HubSpot is an all-in-one CRM platform optimized for inbound marketing. Marketers using its email automation platform together with Marketing Cloud can now automate and deploy highly focused campaigns to audience segments based on specific events and behaviors. These capabilities will eventually expand to include data from other facets of the HubSpot platform, such as landing pages, social, digital ads, and nurture campaigns. In this latest release, Marketing Cloud is further enhancing marketers’ ability to deliver omnichannel marketing campaigns with the new preview screen for mobile notifications in the CommandIQ® app. This enhancement helps BSPs strengthen their content and messaging strategy by ensuring that mobile notifications are always on-brand and improve their perception among subscribers.
  • Get to market faster and grow their brand with market activation resources and services. In addition to the powerful capabilities delivered through Marketing Cloud, Calix provides a full range of turnkey EDGE Enablement market activation resources, content, and tools—along with Premier Customer Success Services—to help BSPs elevate their marketing. With these out-of-the-box resources, BSPs can quickly, easily, and cost-effectively create customized marketing assets and run omnichannel campaigns that showcase their brand. Calix continually delivers new content and assets to help BSPs excite and engage subscribers. At Calix ConneXions 2021, the company unveiled a series of entertaining videos featuring comedian Gerry Dee. The high production value of these videos means broadband marketers can easily customize cost-effectively produce compelling content that will capture subscribers—all under their own brand.
  • Track and measure campaign success. The campaign performance dashboard in Marketing Cloud offers real-time visibility into key performance metrics from the HubSpot platform, such as opened, processed, and delivered. This seamless reporting gives marketers the data and agility to monitor and optimize their marketing campaigns and grow their ROI.

“Calix empowers broadband service provider marketers by giving us the tools, creative assets, and resources that we need to be successful,” said Samantha Chavez, marketing and sales project manager at Tularosa Communications. “Marketing Cloud provides the insights we need to segment our audiences to create highly targeted campaigns with relevant messaging, and the integrations with platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, and Facebook help us streamline our processes and automate marketing workflows, making our marketing more efficient and delivering better ROI. They understand the needs of small teams with limited budgets and enable us to execute world-class marketing campaigns that we might not otherwise be able to create or afford.”

“It’s a great time to be a broadband marketer,” said Matt Collins, executive vice president of commercial operations and chief marketing officer at Calix. “With every quarter, we’re adding new capabilities to Marketing Cloud that help BSP marketers simplify their marketing, excite their subscribers, grow their brand, and grow value for their communities. We’re proud to see teams of all sizes embrace marketing tools and best practices to achieve excellence—and that is why marketing is now the number-one driver of revenue growth for broadband businesses. With the addition of HubSpot to the list of integrations with Marketing Cloud, we’re giving marketers everything they need to develop and deliver omnichannel marketing campaigns that will drive ever higher levels of subscriber engagement and maximize ROI.”
