Shure Announces Intellimix® Room for Microsoft Teams Rooms Expanded Certification

Analyst Take: Partnerships is the name of the game at Enterprise Connect 2022, and the announcement of the expanded certification for Intellimix Room is yet another example of partnership plays in action. The applicable use cases for the Intellimix Room are in instances where the Shure Microflex® Ecosystem is leveraged jointly with video conferencing products from Lenovo, Poly, Logitech, and Crestron. This partnership is all about delivering on the user experience front and ensuring that users have access to easy to use, unified communications software and, equally as important, that they can take advantage of top of the line audio solutions, with a view toward improving overall meeting quality.

Shure’s IntelliMix Room is software-based audio processing for video conferencing that eliminates the need for extra hardware, cleaning up meeting rooms while dramatically improving the audio quality with noise reduction, echo cancellation, and automatic mixing technology. It is easily deployed on in-room PCs that run Windows 10. By expanding the Microsoft Teams Rooms certification to cover Lenovo ThinkSmart Core, Shure is continuing to deliver solutions to more meeting rooms.

Pairing Shure with Partner Kits

To take full advantage of Shure’s IntelliMix Room, users can pair it with partner kits like the Poly Studio Large Room Kit. With the combination of Poly’s hardware and Shure’s software, users can improve meeting quality and meeting equity — two big components of Poly’s overall business strategy. What is key here is that no matter where a meeting participant is, whether that person is working remotely or in the meeting room, they will experience the same quality experience.

Equity of experience is a big theme in the collaboration space today, and rightfully so. As we continue to get comfortable in the hybrid world, organizations are opting for video conferencing solutions that can ensure that all meeting experiences, whether in office or remote, or a combination of both, are the same. Dealing with technology issues like whether a participant can be heard or even heard clearly, shouldn’t be the focus of the meeting, the content should be.

Shure’s IntelliMix Room for Microsoft Teams Rooms expanded certification will help organizations meet the high-quality collaboration standards we are becoming accustomed to — a continued victory for Shure, their partners, and collaboration users overall.
