Lenovo joins Dell and HPE offering product portfolios as-a-Service
Announcement Overview
On September 8, 2021, Lenovo announced that its TruScale brand is now an “umbrella” for all of its as-a-Service solutions. Prior to these announcements, Lenovo TruScale solutions included ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile HCI systems integrated with VMware vSAN or Nutanix HCI software along with hardware support services provided by Lenovo. Lenovo had also previously announced a TruScale for Hosted Desktops Solution with Nutanix and Citrix.
With the latest announcements highlighted below, Lenovo now adds more TruScale HCI-based solutions and management portals as well as TruScale Infinite Storage and TruScale Silicon as-a-Service.
New Product Announcements
New solutions delivered as a service under the TruScale brand include:
- VMware Edge Cloud Solution – VMware Edge Cloud software integrated with two ThinkSystem SE350 Edge servers and networking (available now)
