Crestron Announces the AirMedia AM-3000 for Digital Signage and Wireless Presentation

Analyst Take: Announcement of Crestron’s AirMedia AM-3000 was a natural next step for the portfolio, as digital signage and wireless sharing capabilities are being included in new display deployments found across the office. Crestron is a market leading technology innovator specializing in communications and collaboration at scale, based in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

Crestron’s latest addition to the AirMedia portfolio specifically answers the increased number of landing zones and open collaboration spaces that are being deployed across the enterprise. With Crestron’s digital signage solution included in the entry level AirMedia AM-3000, organizations can standardize adoption to reduce information silos and increase consistency across the workforce. Crestron’s new Airmedia AM-3000 is also equipped with the same wireless sharing and casting capabilities included in the AM-3100 and AM-3200, turning any display into an ad-hoc meeting space. In open spaces and lobbies, interactive displays are becoming commonplace, and the AM-3000 is equipped with touch-back capabilities providing digital real-estate a consistent user interface regardless of display type. To reduce deployment complexity, the entire Creston AirMedia portfolio includes built-in WiFi and Bluetooth so deployment doesn’t require running network cabling to each new deployment.

Hybrid Work is Driving New Workplace Experiences

Companies are tightening resources heading into 2023, with the trend of real estate footprint consolidation through hybrid and remote strategies continuing to accelerate. Organizations undertaking office optimization projects are working to improve employee experience through increased flexibility and productivity. Tomorrow’s workplace is made up of shared or unassigned workstations, many small and medium meeting spaces, and a few large meeting rooms. An employee’s in-office schedule is based on collaborating with others, as individual work can be done anywhere. With less time in the office, and fewer interactions with the technologies found in meeting spaces, the need for consistent interactions across meeting rooms has never been greater. With the addition of the AirMedia AM-3000, the AirMedia portfolio is positioned to deliver consistency and collaboration to any display within the workplace.
