Nyriad and DigitalGlue Boost Media Production Workflow Proposition with TBN Win

Analyst Take: Nyriad and DigitalGlue are collaborating to transform the media production workflow capabilities of the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Through the combined Nyriad/DigitalGlue solution, TBN is ready to improve the overall performance and efficiency of its workflows while minimizing post-production delays and conserving costs.

With the TBN deal, Nyriad and DigitalGlue gain the high-profile customer reference vital to validating the production readiness and value proposition of their combined solution. TBN highlighted that in selecting the joint Nyriad UltraIO storage and DigitalGlue creative.space solution, the process involved evaluating its exiting solution and another nine competitor offerings with Nyriad/DigitalGlue gaining the final nod due primarily to providing the most advantageous performance, resiliency, and TCO benefits.

I see the dual Nyriad/DigitalGlue solution as particularly well-suited for meeting the evolving media workflow demands of the distributed workforce era. As creative teams expand and more talent can access the same content, the storage platform must handle massively growing workloads, especially including organizations repatriating their workloads from third-party clouds back to on premise environments. As such, the storage and workflow systems need to enable greater levels of parallelism that scale according to actual requirements.

Specifically, I find that the Nyriad UltraIO storage architecture optimally blends the capabilities of both GPUs and CPUs with advanced algorithms in a block storage platform that is proven to deliver performance, resiliency, and efficiency breakthroughs. Plus, DigitalGlue’s creative.space platform provides a suite of features distinctly aimed at strengthening collaboration across teams and geographies as well as streamlining storage usage and management for non-technical creatives, minimizing operational bottlenecks and simplifying IT-centric tasks.

For example, in meeting resiliency demands, the UltraIO system can withstand up to 20 drives failing simultaneously with no data loss, while also maintaining 95% of its maximum throughput which can enable teams to work unimpeded. For performance and capacity, a single UltraIO storage array and a pair of creative.space servers, the merged solution can achieve a sustained performance of up to 12 GB/s of concurrent reads and writes through creative.space in a system with 3.3PB of usable capacity. Moreover, UltraIO storage enables customers to use up to 88% of the raw capacity deployed in an environment, which I see as a sharp competitive advantage.

I believe the TBN deal validates that the joint Nyriad/DigitalGlue solution excels across key media workflow selection criterion, such as performance, resilience, efficiency, and ease of deployment. From my view, Nyriad and DigitalGlue have delivered a breakthrough solution that demonstrably streamlines end-to-end production workflows, augments collaboration, while minimizing complexity and saving time, fueling sales and marketing momentum for both companies.
