The Futurum Group welcomes LuccaZara to its family and Announces five new executive appointees

Today, The Futurum Group family announced the acquisition of LuccaZara, now becoming the largest Content Platform delivering Technology Insights.

Founder Lisa Martin has joined The Futurum Group and will serve as industry advisor, on-camera personality, and production executive across The Futurum Group’s media and analysis offerings.

In addition, and as part of the company’s expansion and growth in its media and analysis portfolio, we have announced the appointment of Dave Nicholson as Chief Research Officer.

Dave is a prominent tech advisor and analyst whose career spans across tech leadership, thought leadership and entrepreneurial management in academia. He has spent the past 30 years at the leading edge of information technology, helping organizations craft, articulate and implement their visions. Dave held Chief Strategist, Chief Technologist, and Chief Technology Officer positions at major technology companies including Dell EMC, Oracle, and Infinidat before joining Wharton’s world renowned CTO and Digital Transformation programs as an instructor and success coach.

The LuccaZara acquisition comes as part of The Futurum Group’s growth strategy and ongoing expansion of its media portfolio. Advising over 260 global technology companies and in attendance at hundreds of annual tech events and summits, The Futurum Group has created the largest research-led B2B content platform for technology decision makers and enthusiasts. In her new role, LuccaZara founder Lisa Martin will produce and host several event and on-site shows, a popular practice in both editorial and custom content formats.

New Executive Appointees

The Futurum Group’s analysis-oriented media platform includes a rich OTT and VOD lineup that has surpassed 9 million views and over 421 million digital and social media impressions. As part of the strategic expansion of the Group’s arm, we also announced the appointment of new operations and management executives:

Jeff Turner, VP Futurum Research Client & Research Operations, Tim Tatarowicz, VP Futurum Network and Chris Ruff, as Vice President of Customer Success.

Tim will lead Futurum’s research-led Media arm, expanding the offerings and appealing to clients with both custom and editorial content and analyses programs.

Jeff will apply his vast experience in operations and commercialization to run Futurum’s growing research arm, its diverse tech practices and areas of coverage. Chris will broaden the scope he’s been helping us with previously as consultant, with a focus on enhancing our technology-driven initiatives.

Jeff is a strategic commercialization executive with 25 years of proven success building and leading elite sales teams, launching innovative products and services, and growing diverse business units in organizations ranging from pure start-up, corporate restructure and Fortune 500 firms.

Jeff excels in collaborative efforts with diverse individuals and organizations with a relentless approach to addressing customer needs. He possesses a distinct aptitude for sales, marketing and business development which allows Jeff to define the overarching sales strategy in an ever-changing market while also being detail oriented to execute that strategy.

Jeff has also led and advised companies with regards to new product launch strategy, commercialization, national distribution, market segmentation, key opinion leader development, new technology evaluation, financial modeling, KPI scorecards, compliance programs and negotiating terms and contracts.

Chris has a notable career with significant contributions at leading beverage firms like Red Bull North America, Anheuser Busch InBev, and Coca Cola Enterprises. He excelled in developing key partnerships, enhancing brand presence, and increasing market share.
