Sitecore Launches New Cloud-Native CMS for Enterprise-Level Personalized CX

New Product Updates Are Also Announced

Sitecore, the San Francisco-based provider of digital experience software, announced on Tuesday a new cloud-native content management system (CMS) that would allow enterprise users to create and deliver personalized experiences.

The new CMS, called Sitecore Experience Manager Cloud, was unveiled at Sitecore Symposium, during which the company also announced new product updates integrating recent acquisitions and the introduction of a subscription-based learning resource.

Sitecore Experience Manager Cloud is the latest addition to the company’s Digital Experience Platform (DXP), a software as a service (SaaS) offering. Sitecore’s new SaaS DXP is built on a composable architecture, enabling users to scale and support high-volume content and data processing needs in a more agile fashion. The composable approach also enables brands to capitalize on the company’s 1,200-plus-strong partner ecosystem to help enterprise businesses manage and enhance CX across industries and regions.

The launch confirms the company’s ambitious growth plans, which Sitecore made public earlier in the year when it secured a $1.2 billion investment. The cash infusion represented the largest-ever capital investment in the martech space, paving the way for Sitecore to acquire the companies Boxever, Four51Moosend, and Reflektion.

“Today’s announcement confirms our ambition to disrupt the market and help brands stay ahead with cutting-edge technology,” said Steve Tzikakis, Sitecore CEO. “Customer expectations are ever changing, so it is essential brands are empowered to work in real time, adapting experiences to keep up with the demand.” By bringing its portfolio together in the cloud, Tzikakis said brands can enjoy an integrated platform that is also flexible and scalable. The Sitecore product updates include Sitecore Discover, an AI-powered solution integrating search with marketing and commerce capabilities that can predict customer patterns and needs; Sitecore Personalize, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered engine to engage customers with relevant content and offers; Sitecore Health Cloud, an offering of Sitecore Experience Platform in Microsoft Azure serving the US healthcare market; and Sitecore Learning, three new tiered learning subscriptions—namely, Essentials, Professionals, and Advanced—to help professionals across industries become Sitecore-certified through online courses and instructor-led tutorials.
