Fujitsu’s ETERNUS AF650 all flash midrange storage systems augment the Fujitsu line of DX midrange storage systems. The Fujitsu ETERNUS DX family of storage systems is designed for enterprise and distributed environments requiring high reliability, availability and serviceability features. The AF series, which includes the AF150, AF250, and AF650, shares common software with the DX family but with block access only and configurations that include only SSDs. The ETERNUS AF systems are sold worldwide via Fujitsu companies and channel partners.
Products and vendors that compete with the ETERNUS AF650 system include the Unity all flash series from DellEMC, the VSP F800/F600 from Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), the 3PAR StoreServ 8000 from Hewlett Packard (HPE), IBM Storwize V7000F and NetApp AFF series systems.
